The Waltz is a fusion of modern design and traditional engineering. It has all the features of a normal riser recliner chair, but with the added bonus of a 360å¡ swivel base, making it much easier to move or be moved once seated in the chair. Ideal for anyone who wants to have a different perspective in their day for example, easily moving from watching TV to looking out of the window at the garden. In addition all gadget fans will be pleased to hear that there is a version with a USB port, so using your tech has never been easier! The swivel action has a locking mechanism so when you have found the perfect direction you can stay there. To add to the sleek look of this chair the battery pack is charged and then the cable can be removed giving a 'cable-free' clean look. Once fully charged the battery runs for 10 days before a new charge is needed. The swivel, rise, recline, and footrest all operate independently. Available in grey. åÊHow to choose the correct size chairåÊ

There are 4 measurements you will need to assess which chair is right

  • Seat Height
  • Seat Depth
  • Seat Width
  • User Weight

How to measure Seat Height

Measure the distance from the floor to the crease at the back of the knees. Choose a chair that is not smaller than this measurement. Always go to the closest height above your measurement to ensure comfort.

How to measure Seat Depth

Measure the distance from the back of the hips, along the thighs to approximately 4cm above the back of the knees. When seated you should be able to place 2 fingers between the edge of the seat and the back of the knee.åÊ

How to measure Seat Width

TheåÊcorrect seat width should be the width of the user's hips plus 2cm gap on either side. This should ensure arms sit comfortably on the arm rests and that the chair is neither too wide or too narrow.

Your Weight

•ÈÀIt is important to choose a chair that is suitable for your weight. The motor that lifts you to standing and lowers you to seated has been tested to lift a maximum weight. This weight is stated in the specification of all the chairs as the 'Maximum user weight'. Using a chair that is not suitable for your weight can invalidate the warranty.

•ÈÀIf you have back problems an assessment by a healthcare professional is advised before you purchase a chair.
