The modern powerchair with a zest for life

This sporty motorised chair is fun to drive. You need to have good upper body strength to operate the joystick controls. It's a simple push down to go and pull up to stop or turn. Small and nippy, it's suitable for indoors or out and can reach a top speed limit of an impressive 6mph - so that's as fast as the most splendid power scooters. The comfort and manoeuvrability is fantastic; it can literally turn on the spot. It makes light work of hills too with the ability to climb a 10° gradient. There's reliable traction braking and a horn to warn people you're coming through. The Zinger has no armrests so you can use it like an ordinary chair and pull it under the desk or table to work or eat. The rechargeable battery is simple to remove, but you have the option to recharge in position on the chair if you wish. A full charge takes three and a half hours and, once charged, the Zinger can zip about for up to 8 miles. A real advantage of this chair is its lightweight fold-ability. It may be as fast as a scooter, but there's no steering column so, using a simple forward folding design, it tucks itself into a neat flat package that fits even a small car boot.

Spring Chicken Review

The modern powerchair with a zest for life

The very latest in modern design has been poured into this nippy power chair. It's got speed and manoeuvrability and the joystick controls are a pleasure. You do need good upper body strength and use of your arms because you have to be able to move the controls and there are no armrests, so nothing to lean against. This not only enables you to pull the chair right under a table, but it helps with quick and easy folding too. The Zinger has been designed with a forward folding motion. There are no clips and nothing to fiddle with - it's down in seconds. A stylish, lightweight chair with plenty of zing!
